Head to Pier Park
Panama City Beach’s huge outdoor shopping mall is lined with boutique shops, themed restaurants, and some cool bars.
From Buffalo Wild Wings, 5 Guys Burgers & Fries, and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville to Pompano Joe’s and a Dave & Busters.
Most places to eat offer a special kid’s menu, and on the right night, you’ll even find great live music at places like Hoffbrau Beer Haus, and Tootsies Orchid Lounge.
So whether you’re hungry, thirsty, or just looking for a fun place to stroll around, and people watch, Pier Park is sure to keep you entertained for a couple of hours.
Check Out the Attractions
Panama City Beach doesn’t shut down at night by any means.
You can catch incredible live magic shows at Gulf World. Shoot zombies in the 7D Motion Ride at XD Darkride Pier Park. Get white knuckles on the Roller Coaster at Race City. Front Beach road actually has several places to play mini golf on fun, themed courses to work your way around, including Coconut Creek, and Pirates Island.
You can even work your way around Ripley’s Believe it or not museum, and Wonderworks interactive upside down house all what up until 10pm.
Watch the Latest Blockbuster at the 3D IMAX Cinema
There’s no better way to experience the latest summer blockbuster than immersing yourself in the all-out IMAX 3D Cinema, located at Pier Park.
It’s way more entertaining when the Superhero’s are flying out of the screen towards you 🙂
Knock over Some Pins
Bowling is a timeless way to have some competitive yet light-hearted fun with friends & family.
Grab a drink, and a bite to eat, and try on those fancy looking shoes…
Here on the beach you can split some pins at one of the 24 lanes at Rock It Lanes, located on Front Beach Road.
Late nights (after 10pm) you can even catch “Ballistic Bowling”.
Complete with special balls and pins, a smoke machine, and fun laser light show choreographed to dance music – it’s bowling, but not like we know it, Jim.
Grab a Drink at the Local Bars
If you don’t have the kiddos with you, or never brought any to begin with – maybe a local bar is more your speed.
Sample that famous “Southern Hospitality”, and a generous pour at any of the bars lining Front Beach Road. You’ll find pool tables, karaoke, and even live bands, depending on your style.
Be sure to check out one of Panama City Beaches most famous bars; the World Famous Tiki Bar at the Sandpiper Beacon. This huge, tropical-themed beachfront Tiki Bar has beautiful outdoor seating areas, hammocks, tiki torches, and of course, their famous Tiki Punch!
