You will struggle to find a season where there isn’t a lot going on in Panama City Beach.
As cliche as it sounds, there really are fun events and things to do all year-round.
Spring 2018 is no exception. So if you’re looking for some fun events to mark on your calendar, look no further.
Mardi Gras & Music Festival (February 9th – 10th)
Laissez les bons temps rouler! Mardi Gras time is here. That means lively parades, excellent live music, fun costume contests, and incredible fireworks. A Panama City Beach Mardi Gras is truly a family friendly event. Located in Pier Park and Aaron Bessant Park. That means you can park the car and enjoy everything there is to see and do on foot. This is a fantastic event if you have little ones to entertain too!
PCB Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival (February 17th)
A Panama City Beach first! The Food Truck Festivals of America has been running Food Truck & Craft Beer Festivals around the country since 2011. The popular concept of food trucks has become a well-established staple in many states already.
It has a trendy, youthful appeal – and allows you to try lots of different local food without having to travel to each location. The Panama City Beach Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival will include many of PCB’s most popular food trucks.
Bring an appetite! You’ll probably want to try more than you have room for! Pro Tip: share dishes from multiple trucks with a small group of friends, or you family! That way you get to sample more and not feel uncomfortably full!
Emerald Coast Boat & Lifestyle Show (March 2nd – 4th)
Surprisingly, this event isn’t just for boat owners, or soon-to-be boat owners. This incredible exhibit is held outdoors, at Aaron Bessant Park. It’s pretty much a celebration of boating and outdoor activities. Which is why it feels so ‘at home’ here in Panama City Beach. There will be plenty of waterfcrafts, bikes and paddleboards to see. Not to mention all the outdoor-themed accessories and gear, with lots of on-site giveaways. Come for the fun, and you might even leave with an amazing prize to take home too!
Scottish Festival (March 3rd)
We don’t all have the time or money to travel across the pond to visit the highlands. Fortunately, a slice of the United Kingdom makes it’s way to Panama City Beach this Spring. Come and see Frank Brown Park come to life with bagpipe music, fresh kettle corn and authentic Celtic merchandise. 2018 will mark the 26th annual Panama City Beach Scottish Festival. If you’re feeling brave, you can even try some “neeps and tatties” or maybe a bite of haggis! This is another incredible family-friendly event, with a taste of culture and tradition from across the Atlantic.
Emerald Coast Cruizin'(March 7th – 10th)
Witness thousands of classic American cars gleam in the sun. Chrome polished to a mirror finish and custom paint jobs as far as the eye can see never fails to impress.
You could think of the Car Show as a giant outdoor showroom of spectacular hot rods, classic cars and speedsters. This is a three-day event, with live music and vendors.
Another perfect opportunity to bring the whole family out to witness something you just don’t see every day.
As if the rows and rows of iconic vehicles wasn’t enticing enough, there will also be on the spot cash and prize giveaways.
UNwineD (March 23rd – 24th)
Enjoy an authentic taste of the south with this Southern garden party. Perfect for families, and ideal for grown ups, the UNwineD event features an incredible selection of delicious craft beer, sprits and wine. What better to go with all that good living, than a live musical performance by St. Paul & the Broken Bones as well as Los Colognes?! Summer dresses and Sunday best are encouraged but not required. Feel free to dress to impress, or come to be comfy. There’s no wrong way to enjoy this garden party!
Seabreeze Jazz Fest – 20th Anniversary! (April 18th – 22nd)
The Seabreeze Jazz Festival has been named one of the top 10 jazz festivals in the entire country! People travel from states all over, and even overseas to come and experience the Jazz Festival in Panama City Beach. 2018 brings with it 29 of the hottest names in jazz, including Brian Culbertson, Boney James and Kool and the Gang! Located in Aaron Bessant Park, the Jazz Festival brings you 4 days of performances by some of the most incredible jazz musicians alive, all in one place!
SandJam (April 26th – 28th)
Spring 2018 marks the very first Panama City Beach SandJam! Party right on the beach, with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand. The SandJam is an adult alternative rock music festival right on the sugar white sandy beaches. We may be biased, but we can’t think of a more beautiful backdrop for this spring’s biggest music festival. Headliners include Sublime and Incubus among many other big names. Tickets are already on sale, so get some while they last!
