Christmas Tree Lighting

The 33rd Annual Christmas tree lighting was held at Frank Brown Park. It was a full festive day complete with light. Local schools, businesses and organizations gathered together to provide musical entertainment and sweet treats.
Panama City Beach Christmas Parade ( December 8th )
All of Pier Park was packed with cheer! People lined the streets as the floats traveled down main street of Pier Park throwing out candy. The parade was throughout the entire complex complete with a marching band, fire truck, and a special guest… Santa Claus. : )
Toys For Kids Christmas Ball

The Christmas Ball was held at the Edgewater Beach Resort, and the hundreds of toys that were donated were given as gifts to deserving children in the area! Admission for the event was a new toy for a child.
The Biggest Loser RunWalk
( December 30th )
There was positive energy everywhere! Celebrity contestants from Season 5 of the popular reality TV series came to Panama City Beach and encouraged people of all fitness levels to give it a shot. The relay was a great way to get ready for a new year. Everyone was a winner that day. : )
New Years Eve Concert Performance on the Beach

The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort rocked in the new year with a special live concert performance on the beach by all-girl country rock band Mustang Sally. There was a beach ball drop, champagne toast, and hor’ d’oeuvres. Guests could also see Pier Park ringing in the new year with their annual showcase of fireworks from right behind the hotel!
