Panama City Beach, Florida already has a great reputation for offering numerous fantastic places to eat.
From some of the freshest, tastiest local seafood, to killer steaks and gourmet burgers. You name it, you can find it in Panama City Beach.
Still, locals and frequent visitors alike always get excited any time a new restaurant opens up.
It’s always great to try out a new place, get a feel for the atmosphere, check out the menu, and see if the service and value will keep you going back to work your way through the menu.
Panama City Beach’s newest restaurant, “Coconuts” is scheduled to open early 2014.
Located directly opposite the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort, on Front Beach Road, Coconuts is located just steps away from the beach, and a short (5-minute) drive from Pier Park.
Coconuts – Seafood, Pizza and More! will be offering a menu that’s just as delicious as it is diverse, with tropical-themed dishes.
We managed to take a sneak peek into the kitchen, and we are pleased to be able to “leak” these exclusive dishes:
Mahi Mahi Tacos
3 lightly grilled corn tortillas. Garnished with finely chopped cilantro and red onion. Accompanied by Pico De Gallo, guacamole, jalapeño, lime and coleslaw.
Rasta Pasta
Handmade fresh pasta served with a side of fresh vegetables in a creamy coconut sauce. Topped with your choice of grilled chicken, shrimp or fish. Garnished with toasted coconut & parsley.
Alaskan Crab Legs
1.5lbs of steamed snow crab legs. Served with drawn butter, hearty new potatoes and sweet corn on the cob.
Watch this space – as soon as we have more information about coconuts, we’ll post more!
Stay hungry 🙂
