My husband, myself, and my two kids stayed here for 4 days this month.The place is very clean and there is a lot to do but we were a little disappointed with the knowledge of the staff. It seems that they had to change the polynesian show because of a conflict. This is one of the reasons we booked for the days we did and we were disappointed at check in to learn it had been moved to another night. However there was a sign in the gift shop that had two different nights on it and no one could tell use what the correct one was. We asked three people. Myself and my daughter got stuck in the elevator one evening and pushed the call button twice. We finally had to get another guest to go to the desk to get out.

We had a good time but there is a few things that need working on.

My daughter, myself, and two grandsons just got back from the Sandpiper. Had a great time. This was my third time to stay , it has been remodeled and looks great! Kids loved all the activities, pools, especially the inflatable water slides.

We will not stay anywhere else in Panama City. Staff was friendly. The beach had algae and sea weed, but we stayed in the pools. Love the indoor pool and lazy river.

We came to the Sandpiper Beacon for the first time about a week and half ago. We had the best time. We were able to bring out little yorkie Tebow who had a big time on the beach and taking his nightly walks on the property. We brought 2 14 year old girls and 2 11 year old boys with us. There was never a dull boring minute for them. They had a blast and they loved the tiki bar fun and games.

The movie night was amazing. Then the luau and fire show my goodness it was the best time we have had. We even went to Pier Park to shop and look and they were ready to get back to see what else was going on. We have decided this will be our family destination from now on.

The rooms were very nice and having the kitchens was very convienient. Being pet friendly was a very big deal to us! We like to bring our littlest family member with us wherever we go. I simply can not say enough great things about this place.

We love The Sandpiper Beacon and can not wait to come back again.

My husband, myself and my brother and sister-in-law stayed 7 nights in May at the Sandpiper. We had the best time ever. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was so much to do at the resort, we didn't have to leave, they have everything right there to do.

The Sandpiper is one of the older resorts, but after staying there we will never stay anywhere else. We are already planning another trip and we want to take our 8 grandkids, they would just love it! It is the PLACE TO BE in Panama City Beach.

Great fun. Wonderful Staff. Privileged parking for those with old knees. Lots to do and cocktails all day. Pretty place. Get wet all the time if you want. Luau / Bingo Lady is very nice to everyone. Resturant has good eats and they deliver fast. Be sure you meet Robert at the entrance he is a blast.

John took the small TV out and put in a new flat screen tv and we stayed two more weeks. We are coming back just as soon as we can. Never ran out of towels or toilet paper. They have so much for you to do that you really do not need to leave for anything. But we did anyway. Security keeps an eye on your vehicle DAY & NIGHT. Behave & Respect others & you should have a great time. We did.

We went childless and had the most amazing time. The staff was spectular! Constantly there to meet your needs. I never had to find anyone to ask for anything - they were right there and anxious to help in any and every way! Debbie does an awesome job at the entertainment, welcome show, Rick the magician, many many contest and activities for the entire family - including a gigantic inflatable movie screen for family movie night on the beach!

JP the sailor man was incredible on our sailboat excursion, and Jessie in the tiki bar has tiki punch mastered to perfection! Our second day there we were already planning our return for the following month - this time we are taking our 9 year old son. We would highly recommend this resort to everyone. Perfect place for a family vacation and even a romantic getaway! The owners are on premises, and we got to meet and talk with one. You would not meet a nicer individual who like his staff is there to make sure you have the time of your life!

As a kid and all through out my teenage years I came to the Sandpiper with my aunt and uncle. It's such a great place with so much to do! I could go and do as I pleased and never had to worry about safety. It was such a great experience, and I can't wait until next year when I go back with my boyfriend for our first Sandpiper trip, but definitely not the last!!

Just got back last night from beach. We loved the Sandpiper Hotel, it had lots of entertainment for all ages, great atmosphere. Beaches were clean NO OIL, will return to the Sandpiper again. Great vacation spot.

She met new friends some we are still in contact with and are attempting to line up future vacations so we are all there at the same time. We stayed at The Sandpiper Beacon for 4 days and had a fabulous time. The people there are really helpful like Keith and Angie. Most families will not be disappointed as there are plenty of things to do with nice pools, a tiki bar, and good food at the deli. We couldn't go wrong especially for the money.

Thanks for the great time we had last June. My 6yr old Daughter Laynee loved it. She had a blast on the tube slide, she learned how to go under water and it didn't bother her, she loved it. She enjoyed the Kareoke and the dancing.

We had a blast and we will be coming back hopefully in June or July. This is really a family oriented place and there is so much to do with all the activities that you have everyday.

Our family stayed there last summer and we had a great time! My Daddy and Mama came with us too. My Daddy who never really enjoyed the beach bragged and bragged about how much fun he had and wanted to go back. He told everybody about the Resort that he spoke to when we got home. Our Daddy has since passed, but this was a glorius time we will always remember that we/he enjoyed together at the Sandpiper.

My family has been coming to the SANDPIPER for about 20 years. I absolutely love it. I never want to go anywhere else. It takes about 12 hours to get there but well worth it. I cant wait to get there this year. I always try to get my family to come. I hope they will be able to this year. I love it when everyone gets to come. It's so much fun. You can do everything right there and never have to leave. Also, I love the Tiki Bar. The security is great and always watches me to my room because my husband usually stays in the room and watches TV. During the day he helps me take everything to the beach, then he goes back to the room. We also love the hot jacuzzi and the grills. Its really nice. I can't wait until August. See you then. My family has been staying at the Sandpiper for 26 years this year. Me and my sister had our summer vacations there and now we get to take our kids. I met my best friend in the whole world there on the beach when I was 14. We have both gotten married and were each others maid of honor. She is from Atlanta, Ga and we meet there every year. They treat us very well and we miss Mary Anne when we are gone. On Labor Day for the past 7 years the girls go on a trip (girls only) and we have a blast then too. Keith is the best, also. It is a wonderful place for a family vacation. i just wanted to tell you all thanks for making my family vacation special for the past 25 years. We miss you, Gary. See you all in July. That will also be my honeymoon can't wait for that our Mardi Gras Night.

OMGAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and my best friend stayed at the Hotel and it was the best thing that we found out about out of all of the high rise hotels or condos!!! I would totally recommend the Sandpiper as the place to stay at.. Just me and my friend were there for the weekend of March 11th-14th for our SPRING BREAK!!! This was our first time and it was incredible.. Sandpiper is definitely the place to stay looking for the best view of the sunset, the location of where everything is at day/night, the people whom party outside of there rooms, meeting new people next door to you, being very afforable; worth every penny, and the beachfront rooms... everybody was incredible, respectable and all ready to party!!

Looking back on our trip there is nothing that I would want to change about it, every day, every hour we were in PANAMA CITY BEACH it was freaking incredible! We are doing it again for our SENIOR YEAR next year...

My best friend will be graduating from grad school from THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS and I will be graduating with my bachelor's.. So we definitely will be partying there next year for SPRING BREAK 2011!

There is so much to do at the Resort that you don't have to leave! The Tiki Bar is just one of the best things there... I don't think I will stay anywhere else. WOW! We visited the Sandpiper for the first time in August 2009. We normally stay at the opposite end of the beach but we decided to try something new. We had 5 children from age 7 to 12 that were totally amazed! This was the best vacation we ever had... The Tiki Bar was awesome and not to mention the views! We are already planning to come back in May. We LOVE The Sandpiper now, and will not stay anywhere else.

We have stayed there 3 times with our family. We have six kids from infant to 16, there is something for everyone. Plenty to do, the rooms are great, all you need is with blocks if not right there. We stay a week, and it's the best week of the year for us.

We used to live near Panama City Beach and often took the kids there just to spend a great weekend ever once in a while. We really enjoyed staying at the Sandpiper Becon then, they had clean, spacious rooms and a lot for the kids to do and Resturants near by. It was just a great place to go relax and let the kids have a fun weeknd. Now we live in KY and have been staying at another resort when we vacation in Panama City Beach, but are thinking we might just stay at The Sandpiper this year. We are looking forward to checking it out again.

My husband, I and our daughter (8 months old at the time) stayed at the Sandpiper this past summer (early August) after our wedding it was our honeymoon of sorts. Originally we were suppose to go without the baby for the week but being a new Mom that was just too hard for me to do. My Dad who hates the beach actually refered us to Sandpiper so I knew if he was refering it, it must be nice (it takes something pretty special to impress him, which obviously it did),it totally was wonderful. I hadn't been to Panama City beach in about 9 years so I was quite surprised to seen how it had grown, I was also surprised at how quiet the rooms were, my daughter slept right through the bands and entertainment my husband and I were enjoying from our balcony many evenings with the doors closed behind us. The indoor lazy river was perfect to take our daughter in, not too cold but not sizzling either we would often go in the evening it was a great way to relax our daughter and enjoy family time. Our daughter would just laugh and smile as we carried her around she loved all of the sights and sounds, as did we. I can truly say The Sandpiper Beacon is wonderful for all ages and all types married, dating, and single all alike. We enjoyed our time so much my husband and I actually decided to come back in late spring 2010 forgoing a cruise which we had intially thought of taking. Can't wait to come back and enjoy our time!

"Oh my God"... That is what I thought when I saw the ocean for the first time. Then when I got to the Motel it was the best thing in my life - the pools, the beach, the bars just everything... That was the best week of mine and my sons life. We are from KY and never had so much fun. We are planing to come back this Summer for our 2nd Summer vacation and it's an every year planed vacation.

I brought my 3 sons and their friends down for a 5 day vacation this summer. We all had a great time, they all got to do activites designed for their age groups. The younger kids enjoyed the pools, put-put golf, and the games in the tikki bar, while the older teens got to do the what teens do. The staff was great and treated everyone like a family member and even helped finding entertainment for all of us to enjoy. I would recommend this resort to any one and have done so...Thanks for a great summer, A great summer I could afford.....

My husband & I have been spending our winters here for the last ten years.We have had many good times and made a lot of good friends. The staff has always treated us well and there is many exciting funtions to participate in if you want to socialize such as line dancing, water aerobics, bingo, dancing to live music 3 times a week. We even have pot luck dinners at least once a month and planned casino trips to Biloxi once a month. In our opinion this is the only place to stay. They are also pet friendly and allow small dogs. We have never owned one but people that own pets are some of the nicest ones.

My son and I stayed at the Sandpiper Beacon Jan 11-15 2010. Our rooms were very nice. The entertainment in the Tiki Bar was great! Peter, the Great Pretender, was wonderful and very nice. The dancing was a lot of fun: everyone was dancing! I would especially like to compliment the staff. The customer relations staff is outstanding.

We stayed at The Sandpiper on Christmas Eve while travelling to Family Christmas. We really loved this place. We were allowed to have our small dog who got to see the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico right from his own room. We searched tirelessly for a pet friendly accomodation on the beach.

The room was great, The staff was friendly as well as helpful. We are looking forward to staying again on our next trip!

Two of my best girlfriends and one of their little girls age 3 at the time stayed at the Sandpiper Beacon in late March. We had a BLAST every night. The staff was super super friendly. TONS to do. All kinds of neat free stuff in the lobby like razors, face wash, tooth paste, tampons, shampoo, conditoner, wax strips are just a few of the things we racked up on.

I loved waking up early and drinking coffee and sitting out on their large back deck. One of my friends and I went drinking and dancing every single night at the tiki bar. It was the best time I think I have had in my life. My friend with the daughter spent a lot of time in the lazy river and large indoor pool with her 3 yr old where she learned how to swim without floaties!! Plus this hotel is located walking distance from EVERYTHING!!

You can walk to the best restaraunts, rent mopeds, load up on souvenirs and everything's a dollar or purple haze. The pier park is just right down the road. Its just awesome, totally toallly awesome.

Only bad thing that I experienced the whole time was one night at the tiki bar a young couple brought their infant child in a stroller to the tiki bar where they were BOTH drinking and the music is so loud it is almost deafening and the child was allowed to be there. I did not understand that. That might just be some Florida law. I don't know why it was allowed but it was kind of a buzz kill. I hated to see an infant exposed to all that. They stayed until well after midnight. I reported it to a security gaurd and a police officer who were hanging around the tiki bar and they seemed none too concerned.

But other than that an AMAZING trip and I WILL for sure be back.
